On 15 October 2024, the Department of Automation Technology of the University of Applied Sciences (UAS) held the Multiplier Event of the ERASMUS+ RE-MAIN project at CAMPUS 02. This event offered a unique opportunity to learn about the results and progress of this innovative project in the field of remote maintenance and industrial automation.
The day was part of Automation Innovation, an annual event that highlights the department’s most recent achievements in undergraduate and postgraduate theses, as well as research and development projects in collaboration with partner companies. The RE-MAIN project, funded by the ERASMUS+ programme, has focused its efforts on providing cutting-edge solutions in remote maintenance, a fast-growing area thanks to industrial digitalisation. Participants were able to learn in detail how these new technologies impact maintenance and automation in industrial environments, promoting greater efficiency and connectivity in the management of equipment and processes.
This event not only highlighted the relevance of current innovations in remote maintenance, but also allowed students, researchers and industrial partners to exchange ideas on the advances that are shaping the future of the sector. The UAS Department of Automation Technology continues to drive the development of advanced technologies and foster international collaboration, with the aim of consolidating its position as a benchmark in the field of automation and industrial maintenance.
